Evolution of Nature: adapt your kingdom.

A starting guide to factions, recruitment and growing through the ages in the current browser beta.

By Freedom Game Studio · Reviewed · Evolution of Nature 0.22.0-web.1

Choose a mode and a faction

The browser beta offers a fifteen-clearing Campaign, a Skirmish, and a Ring with three or four kingdoms controlled by you and AI opponents. Start with a single battle while you learn the recruitment and building controls.

Choose one of six factions. The game begins with cellular Origins before the later army ages. Each faction develops its own troop lineages and settlement art.

Balance the settlement with the front line

Recruitment and upgrades compete for your attention. Watch what the enemy is sending before spending everything on the next unlock. Build enough support for the army you can actually keep in the fight.

Inspect troop details to understand their ability, cooldown and counterplay. The current build has eight normal and eight rare combat lineages per faction in each army age. A troop’s job matters alongside its level.

Evolution changes what you can field

Eleven chronological army ages follow Origins. Abilities develop with their lineages, and four painted body milestones and nursery stages make the factions change visually as they advance.

Watch a troop’s windup and impact to learn when its ability is taking effect. Try adjusting the composition when you are losing a particular exchange; repeatedly buying the same unit may repeat the same problem.

Play and save on your device

Use mouse or touch to recruit, build and evolve. Turn a phone sideways. Drag the Ring battlefield to look around; pointer input is needed for that view and battlefield inspection. Escape pauses a single battle, while standard buttons support Tab and Enter.

In a battle, use Pause → Save & leave; Ring uses Home. Resume from the title screen. Progress stays in this browser on this site, so clearing its data can remove the save. Native-app and other-site saves do not move here automatically.

About the names and this beta

Evolution of Nature is the title on the game screen. Older FGS pages call it Age of Evolution, and earlier development packages used Age of Nature. The existing play address still opens the same game.

The browser version uses AI opponents. Online invitations and native leaderboards are not part of this web beta. Ads are off, and phone performance and accessibility continue to be playtested.
